An opinion may be controverted; a prejudice, never. -Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach
People will always have opinions, but they can be changed. People who are prejudice are set on a certain opinion against other people and that is not right. People who are prejudice are hard to convert to change their mind about a strong belief. That is why they can’t be converted straight.
Coming together is the beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success. -Henry Ford
People should work together because that makes them successful, as a team. However working as a team takes time, that is why coming together is the first step. Also, when people come together, they don’t necessarily stay together, that is why it’s progress and an achievement if they did. Then when people work together they are successful and benefit each other.
There is no comparison between that which is lost by not succeeding and that which is lost by not trying. -Francis Bacon
People can lose much more by not trying in the first place, and that means they completely didn’t try at all. People who do not succeed, but tried can still be winners because they at least put forth their best effort to succeed. So the greater loss would be having not tried at all, which is so big it cannot compare to the loss of not succeeding.
